Klemp Electric Motor Repair and Sales

I went in expecting to buy a new attic fan motor, but instead of just selling me a new one. They tested my old motor, finding it to be working properly. So instead of just selling me something I didn't need, they were honest and helpful. I'll definitely be back with other needs in the future.

I do HVAC for a living, and these guys have never let me down. I recently had a customer that an odd looking motor for a wall furnace. I took the motor to Klemp and they matched it right up. The guy at the counter just eyeballed the motor and immediately found the exact motor I needed. I was happy because my customer had heat that night.

These guys destroyed a very expensive motor by taking shortcuts when rebuilding a motor. Upon picking up the motor I checked the end play, and questioned them on if they had reworked the end play. Ron became irate that I would question him and said "they knew what they were doing." The motor failed immediately upon installation. Upon returning it to them for repair they were very nasty stating, "It ran when it left here". I had the motor checked out prior to taking it back to them by another motor repair shop, and they said Klemp had really messed up. The motor was no longer repairable. These guys cost me a lot of money, and had our production down for over a week until I could buy a new motor. NOT NICE PEOPLE

They took my 1965 classic 5hp motor and charged me the minimum 120bux.they tore it apart when all I wanted was capacitors.! All I needed was 30 bux worth of caps!they reassembled it and told me they couldnt figure the MFD required!..These guys arent for individuals but for companies.without $ limits

KC owned and operated! Took a small motor in for repair because a NEW replacement OEM motor would have been $895.00. Two days later Klemp told me my motor was fine. They sold me a $7.00 capacitor instead. BooYah!!! ROCK STAR FAST SERVICE AND REPAIR!
