Do not use this company due to poor customer service. They missed multiple scheduled appointments and had no remorse leaving a 90 year old with an active leak for 3 weeks after initially replying to and accepting the job. We basically received the runaround and were left stranded with an active leak.

About 6 years ago, I called Koolco (located in Wakefield, RI) for AC service. The very young tech they sent out didn't have a clue as to how to fix my problem, so he had to call in the owner to come to my house (or former owner as I think he said his ex-wife owns it now from the divorce) and he came in, supposedly fixed my unit and charged me like $335 for a service call. The very next day, I had the very same problem, so I called the same "owner" guy and he said that it would be another $335 for another service call and I said "I just paid you $335 yesterday for something you didn't fix". He had the nerve to tell me that I did not have a receipt showing what he did the previous day and that he would just say that the call was for "analysis of my system" which was a complete lie. Our residential AC stopped working. KoolCo customer service worked with their technician to get us prompt service. Matt was experienced, professional, and focused as he examined the AC system and found and repaired the leaks in the coolant pipes. He also succinctly answered our questions in easy to understand terms. System is once again running smoothly. Excellent experience in all categories. Highly recommend!

I have used this company for 20 years. They offer great service and reasonable prices. As an example I called the company at 630am. I got their answering service and a repairman was at my door at 830am. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it within 20 minutes. I was able to get to work by 930. I strongly recommend this company to everyone in South County RI.

I had Koolco replace my 3 ton condenser recently. They sent 2 guys to the house, 1 one of them just stood there providing little to no value add (but he was the owners son). Upon asking for an invoice breakdown of the charges it was upsetting to see I was paying full price for the worker who stood there doing nothing, and the mark-up one the condenser itself was roughly 30%. If you can find another "honest" company, I would.
