Kotz Heating, Cooling and Plumbing

I never thought I’d have to write a negative review for a company, but I truly feel that people in Waterford should be aware of the kind of customer service they may receive from Kotz. Do not call this company. I had what should have been a very simple issue: a small waterline problem in my basement, right next to my furnace — not upstairs, not complicated, and easily accessible. They sent both a plumber and an HVAC technician. Despite having two professionals here, the diagnosis was completely wrong and the actual issue was never resolved. While the HVAC technician was here, there was a clear hissing noise coming from the furnace. I specifically asked him about it. He casually said it would stop. It did not stop. In fact, shortly after he left the situation escalated to the point where

I have had a very good experience with Kotz heating and cooling. The staff is wonderful to work with. I had them replace my boiler in my home and they were very professional and attentive. They showed up when they said they would and did a exceptional install. I did have a slight problem with a electrical switch which was out of their control, when I addressed the issue with the owner they immediately came back and replaced the switch. Alex and Scott ( The technician’s ) were very professional and I would highly recommend them for repairing or replacing any heating or cooling systems. Our annual service caught a leak from a defective part. Our technician Molly was great and she was able to get Joe scheduled out to bring the new part (had to be ordered) and get everything fixed back up right away. We needed a quick turnaround which Kotz was able to accommodate. Everyone was on time, cleaned up the work area, and extremely pleasant and helpful answering questions. Will definitely work with them again.

Christian came in and from the beginning knew what to do and did a great job. He was amazing and helpful. Honestly after three visits. I was so happy to have someone who knew what to do and assured me we would have heat. He was here later and so kind to my family and did things that made us feel at ease. Thank you Christian for your hard work and you are great at what you do. This man deserves a raise.

I just had my furnace and hot water tank replaced by Kotz Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. I can not be more satisfied with the service that was done by the gentlemen that did the work. They also found some water pipes under my house that were broken and replaced them during a snow storm. I can not be more satisfied with the work that was done. The new appliances were explained to me and made this avery good experience. Thank you! Patricia T.
