L & J Pools

I am thrilled to share my experience with L&J Pools! Jim, Jim Jr., and Tony were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process of building our new gunite pool over our existing 16x32. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident. One thing that stood out to me was how they looked out for me during the long permit process, which the City of Danbury gave us quite a headache with. I waited a couple years to post cause I wanted to go through a full season and then some before putting it out there. We looked at getting a pool at the start of the pandemic and called numerous companies and were pretty much ghosted because project wasnt expensive enough, and the second seemed to get annoyed when I asked too many questions. This was a big expensive deal to get the pool so..yeah i had alot of questions. It got to the point where Tony and I knew each others voices when we called. I contacted L&J pools about a pool water delivery for my pool. The driver was courteous and even helped me with a small problem with my pool install. I ended up needing to have them come back a few times to assist in filling my pool and every time it was a great experience. I even got some advice about how to take care of my new pool. (I am a new owner) I would recommend them, and will use them again in the future. Thanks!

I have been using L & J for over 15 years and they have been great to work with on the pool openings, closings and minor repairs. They pay a lot of attention to the details. They are reasonably priced (I've checked around) and respond promptly if I call with any questions. My pool is older and they help me keep it going and, like a car or house, you can't defer maintenance forever. They guide me on what issues they see and how to fix them in a cost effective way. 5 stars on all!

They opened our pool and left the mechanicals leaking. The service tech was brand new and inexperienced. He blew DE all over our pool once and our pool and patio another time. I had to clean up after him once myself. We called to complain after the second time. They charged us to clean up his mess, but finally did refund that charge after we complained. During that process 2 brand new filter bags were ripped. The owner called and told us over phone there must be an issue with our filter, but he was too busy to come and assess it. They were also too busy to come address the leaks they had left. We tried unsuccessfully to work with them to address these issues. As they were unable to perform basic services we had to fire them at that point. Our new company has had no issue with the filter. L
