Lake Norman Hardscapes

After speaking to a few different groups we knew Mike and Lake Norman Hardscapes was the choice to redesign our back patio. Mike listened to our needs as we explained some of the issues we had with the previous layout. He came up with the perfect design and had some great suggestions on how to build out our outdoor kitchen. Mike easily adapted to a few changes we requested after the project started and made everything so easy from start to finish. Our new backyard is an area where we want to spend time again! We absolutely recommend Lake Norman Hardscapes.

The company completely failed to provide a balanced retaining wall with matching ends. One side has five steps and the other three, my math says not close. The area between the patio and wall was supposed to be useable and flat. The path to the backyard is a mud path, drainage assurances failed. Estimate was completely off; I was quoted 500 square feet of sod and needed 1000 square feet. They even installed two different types of sod. I now have two grass types in my yard! First red flag should have been when the estimator showed up in flip flops sad life lesson for me. I have the SOW to prove these failures.

Lake Norman Hardscapes was definitely the best choice we could have made. Michael and crew got our job done fast and efficiently. In fact so well that our home sold in just 15 days. We attribute it to the fact it looked so good! Would not hesitate to call for help should I ever need a job like they did in the future.

Michael and his crew helped us transform our backyard into a usable and appealing space for our family, guests, and neighbors to enjoy! My husband loves to play golf so the putting green and chipping area were a fun addition. We are so pleased with the work they did. They brought in many truck loads of dirt to raise the grade of the land, redid our irrigation system, designed and created a beautiful patio and fire pit area as well as landscaping design and lighting work. They also piped all of the water drainage through pipes under our yard so it wouldn't flood so badly from rain. We highly recommend them if you're looking for someone to do quality work around your yard.

Fantastic company to work with. I needed two large retaining walls and some turf installed around my new pool and Lake Norman Hardscapes delivered. Mike was great to work with and was open to changes as needs arised. Victor and his crew were professionals and left a clean site when complete. Once started, they worked everyday until complete and did not drag the project on. Fantastic results and couldn't be happier.
