This company was great to work with at first. I liked the idea of working with a smaller company. Their communication as to when they would get the work down was slow but they did respond. However, days after I paid for the work I found a low spot in the driveway. I sent a picture right away they said they would be out to look at it. No one ever showed. I emailed over and over a few times I was told they would come and look. Still nothing if this is any indicator of what their warranty would be I would say there is no warranty. Now it is winter so instead of it being water, now I have a big ice spot in the middle of my driveway. They have completely stopped responding to my emails. I had several friends I was going to recommend to them but now I have suggested they find another company

Jeff and Cassie were very friendly and honest to deal with. Jeff was quick to give an estimate and had me scheduled in a timely manner. Crew showed up when scheduled. Did a great job prepping the drive and even edged the grassy areas. Hand picked the weeds that were growing in the rather large cracks. The crew was very detail oriented to include not getting sealer on my concrete. You can really tell they take pride in their work, customer service and communication was great. Would surely recommend them and hire them again in the future. Thanks Jeff and Cassie. And also thanks to the crew as well. Great job.

As a former Director of Saint Paul Public Works I have experience working with asphalt paving. I want to take this opportunity to recommend Lakes Area Asphalt. Jeff and his crew know their business and did an out standing job replacing my driveway. They were efficient and professional. They communicated well and upon completion of the install left the site clean and tidy. Oh and the price was right also. Cassey was a pleasure to work with and I recommend them highly.

My driveway went from a busted down gravel asphalt to a nice smooth level asphalt. From tear out to finish this process was a breeze. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs asphalt! Only problem is now the driveway is a massive canvas for chalk with my kids😁

This family business has been great when we first dealt with them. I went on here to share issues with our driveway since being installed in 2021. It's been years. However, the business owner let me know they do warranty their work. He was reassuring and provided a game plan. I appreciate them hearing me out and was responsive. If you have any issues with driveway best you reach out to them first. We always try to support family businesses. As of January 21, 2026, we are still waiting for them to get us scheduled. The agreement was to get this fix in 2025. Hopefully they can squeeze us in this Spring or Summer 2026. Will update when complete.
