Landscaping by Gaffney

After getting quotes for our patio project from 5 different landscaping companies, we decided to use Dave (Landscaping by Gaffney). His design and ideas were better than the others and his price was one of the lowest. He was easy to work with throughout the entire process, and his employees were competent and efficient. This was my first time hiring a contractor for a big project, and Dave made it stress free and ultimately produced exactly what we hoped our back patio could be someday.

Dave was able to take our vague idea of what we wanted in our backyard - a woodland oasis, space to relax, a pleasant view without a lot of upkeep - and drafted the most amazing landscape design for us. Much more beautiful and engaging with the landscape than we ever would have been able to visualize on our own. When the work started Dave's crews were on time, polite, and respected our property. Through every step of the process Dave was responsive and happy to answer any questions we had. Even after the job was finished Dave has been generous with his time in answering our questions about pond maintenance and replacing a pathway light that was knocked over by a vehicle. Whatever your landscaping or design needs I would recommend Dave & his crew without hesitation.

We have had Landscaping by Gaffney do several significant projects over a 20+ year span and have always been delighted with their work and the results. Most recently in 2023, they completed a landscaping project around our new pool and the results were stunning. We could not be happier with the final results. The landscaping does so much to improve the appearance and value of our home.

Dave did a wonderful job transforming our backyard! He created a beautiful space for us at a price we were comfortable with. He was flexible with us when we added or changed things, like grading our yard, and delivered our project in a reasonable timeframe.

Dave and his crew re-did our front stoop. He was wonderful to work with, design wise. His knowledge of the best practices and products helped so much. He also saved us money by telling us we didn’t need to completely redo our walk. He re-leveled it, cleaned it and put a sealant on it. Saves us thousands. I can’t recommend Dave and his company more!!
