LAZ Parking - 601 E Street NW

Nicest parking garage I’ve ever been in. It was clean, well lit, and my family felt safe as there was staff on every level. Staff was nice and helpful in assisting us get out of the garage to attend the Capitals game. Has a nice elevator and when you get out you’re right across the street from Capital One Arena, so it was very convenient parking. This was our first time in D.C. and attending the Capitals game. Highly recommend this parking garage if attending an event at Capital One Arena.

Their after hour service is horrible. First, it is not clearly stated that the garage closes at 11pm. Secondly, I called the after hour rep at 1:31, she claimed that she called the on call person at that time. My friend called at 2 and she said she was going to call . Finally , after many other friend called at 230 she said she just spoke to him and he is 45 minutes out. She never spoke to him the first time I called apparently. We were waiting outside in the cold for almost 2 hours. Better signage and on call staff/service is needed.

Parked here for holiday market. Cost was $20. I am writing this review because there was not enough room for me to drive out safely from the garage so I scuffed my rims. I told the parking attendant there and he smiled with a laugh. Very ignorant. Please better manage cats trying to come out the garage so they can safely have enough room. Thank you

To explain in detail I reserved the parking with LAZ through spotHERO which was a 15min walk from my destination & the most reasonable in regards to price the next available/reasonable location was double the price & a 10min walk. On the night of my reservation there’s a Capitals game being played & the police had every accessible street to access the parking garage blocked off. I didn’t realize this till I circled the block in hopes of an opening. Along with speaking to an officer with the intent on being given access due to my reservation. Yet that was just my hopes. So for 45mins I waited for the commanding officer to give the all clear. Immediately I proceeded to the garage & I was confused initially because there are vehicles exiting the garage yet I don’t realize their exiting out of

Our SpotHero code did not work on entry because we were 6 minutes early for our booked time, but we just grabbed a ticket and upon exit there was a friendly worker there who cleared us through. Great location for the Shakespeare Harman Hall (elevator can access the theatre directly) and Capital One Arena. There are actually entrances to this garage on both E and F streets but we were told and entered from E. Garage is clean and reasonable sized spots. Booked online for $18 (including fees) whereas it would have been $25 with just our ticket. Overall good place. Does close early (I believe 11PM on days other than Sunday, which is 10PM), so watch your time and plans.
