LAZ Parking - 6th Avenue Garage

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! My car got completely smashed and broken into along with 5 other cars on level three. Went to the hotel lobby and they were no help and the parking garage themselves can’t even answer the phone AND their mailbox is full. WORST experience ever. It is posted all around that garage that they work with Seattle police to keep it safe and also signs of “no trespassing”….?!? Definitely a joke. I want a full refund- it sucks I couldn’t leave this place sooner. Do NOT park here,

It was $18 to park from 11:00-12:15. The mobile interface doesn’t work. It took us 15 minutes of struggling to use the mobile pay. The form they use wouldn’t interface with the auto fill on our phones. My partner uses droid and I use Apple no matter what I did it wouldn’t accept my email. I entered it manually. I used auto fill. I couldn’t even get past that. Eventually my partner was able to get it to work on his phone But it wouldn’t accept any of our cards. I don’t think it’s an issue of user error. My partner has a background in computer science. I wish the sign noted that it is possible to pay when you are exiting because we would’ve just done that. I parked there for a concert nearby last week and I found the parking lot great. They are well organized, clean and efficient. The only issue was that everyone from the concert parked there and on my way out I endured a long line. But staff was present at the door to help those who had questions on how to scan their tickets 🤷🏼‍♀️

My granddaughter and I parked here at LAZ Parking for an event at The Showbox Thursday November 20th. We were very pleased with how easy it was to get in, park, etc. One elevator was broken, no biggie. I was relieved to see the sign at the entrance noting something about 3:00 am. I can't remember exactly what the wording was but it let me know that when we left at 11:00 pm we would be able to get out of the garage. I don't use parking garages often and I was really worried about getting locked into one after it closed. It was only $12 for parking from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. I saved this to my favorites and will definitely park here again when I'm downtown.

This is the “Hotel California” of parking garages. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave. Stairwells are locked, preventing you from getting to your car by any means other than the elevator, which has a huge line. The flow of traffic out of the garage is easily a 30 minute wait, for any event. This is caused by the lack of sufficient attendants and broken ticket scanners.
