Scott was very responsive and respectful. Everything I asked, he answered. I am taking away 1 star simply because I disagree with their process. I learned after the fact of their exact process which was my fault for not clarifying. I wanted something specific and didn't communicate it to Scott which led to this. The scalping height was correct, but the execution was unprofessional. Industry standards—and specifically Texas A&M AgriLife guidelines—state that bagging and removing clippings is a requirement for scalping, not an 'add-on' service. Because the crew used side-discharge mowers without bagging, they blew a massive volume of debris directly into my mulch beds and over my landscaping. Our lawn was in such bad shape from the prior tenants at our rental unit. They had several dogs who not only tore up the lawn but chewed up our sprinkler heads. I wasn’t sure what to do but I knew I had to get it fixed or no family would want to rent my home again. Scott with Leander was fantastic to work with, he was very knowledgeable and managed to stay within my original budget we discussed. Spoke with Scott and was incredibly impressed with how he conducts his business. There were certain things I wanted that just weren’t feasible and he was incredibly honest and upfront about them and took the time to talk to me and explain things in detail. In a world where people will say yes to anything just for a quick buck it’s incredibly refreshing to find someone who is truly honest and cares more about the product and services they provide than just profit motives.
