Lewellyn's Blacktop Sealing

Super disappointed in the service. They spilled a bunch of seal coating on the street in front of my house , and in my neighbors yard. It was a mess. They also missed a lot of the edges of the asphalt, and put the seal coat on very unevenly so that my driveway looked patchy. I voiced my concerns to the manager and he offered to redo the driveway. He sent a crew out to do it again, and they still missed edges AGAIN, and didn’t reseal the entire driveway. They left a few very big areas uncoated on the 2nd try, and now my driveway still looks patchy. It would have taken 15 more minutes to do a thorough job, but instead they half assed the job and it looks bad. I was getting different quotes from companies on sealcoating my driveway. When Lewellyn's representative came, he said 'ours comes with a year warranty'. That's what sold me so I went ahead and used them and paid them $442. It rained six hours after they came. I immediately contacted them because I was worried that would affect it . Sure enough they had to come back because I had spots all over my driveway. This is a picture five months after they sealed it and as you can see, it didn't take . I am now told they are under new management and ownership and will not come back and honor the year warranty I was quoted because the company did not put it in writing on my invoice. Everything is wrong with this company.... They don't use equipment properly for example, a weedeater should be used with a guard to help prevent rocks from flying and may have prevented a broken window on our house. Also, be more observant of property for example like avoiding overspray on garage door. I assumed they had the proper tools to prevent this from happening or we would have taken the appropriate measures to do so ourselves. Did I mention, this is our first time with sealcoating a driveway and the very first company we have hired. Unfortunately, it took 2 months, several dead end phone calls and us showing up at the office unannounced for reimbursement on the damage they caused.

I’ve been waiting for year now for response to my calls, voicemails. I just wanted driveway sealed. Got estimate last year and just wanted to go through with work but can’t get anyone to answer phone much less return my calls. Not sure what happened here. It’s a shame they was recommended by everyone in my neighborhood but now I’m in process of having to go with someone else and prob get put on their waiting list! Just sucks!
