Pennington Hardwoods

Like several of the other customers who have written a review, I have also purchased hardwood flooring from Pennington Hardwoods multiple times. I believe I must have been one of first customers after he put up the website in the mid 90's. Over the course of 5 years, I purchased and installed oak and ash hardwood floors in the whole 3000 sq ft home in Naperville IL. The unfinished, solid tung and groove flooring was fabulous quality, perfectly straight and very easy for me to install. I used the same flooring finisher each time (he did a great job) and he was always amazed at how flat the installed floors were. After selling that home and moving to Madison, WI after I retired, I undertook a complete home renovation and once again, I used Pennington for all my flooring, millwork and new

We purchased White Oak flooring and could not be more pleased. Kevin was extremely helpful with my endless list of questions. Everyone that has seen our floors remark on their beauty. We installed them ourselves ( although my husband is a retired carpenter). Even stairs were easy. Shipping and delivery went without a hitch. Our floors look as gorgeous today as when they were installed over four years ago. Cannot say enough good things about this quality business. We would definitely go with Pennington Hardwoods again.

We bought Sirari rosewood from Kevin nearly 20 years ago for some of our floors, and recently had it refinished. It looks as beautiful as when originally installed. We also recently purchased tiger wood for previously carpeted areas. Once again, the wood is fantastic. Kevin worked with us to find the high quality product we were looking for within our budget. I'm a return customer of Pennington Hardwoods. Over a span of 20 years Pennington Hardwoods and their mills and kilns have delivered me precision machined unfinished domestic hardwood flooring that has consistently exceeded the promised grade and quality. My most recent order of 1400 sq ft of walnut had about 1% rejects - a remarkable accomplishment. The moisture levels were consistently below 7%. The quality and consistency of the clear/long product is very good. Nationwide shipment services and custom milling at good rates. Fantastic work!

I first discovered Pennington Hardwoods when I ran across a photo of some flooring (on Pinterest) that I immediately fell in love with, but figured there was no way I would ever find the dealer. So I clicked on the photo and I was sent right to Pennington's website, where I decided I would email them with inquiries regarding what type of flooring I was interested in. That got me in contact with Kevin, who was an absolute pleasure to work with during the process of choosing and buying our custom wood floors.
