My Arlington garden is such a wonder to behold! I wish everyone could have a garden designed and installed by Barbara. She truly cares about her client's tastes, carefully working with you to design a garden you will enjoy owning. Barbara also finds the best plant stock possible, even finding a few gem imports if possible and appropriate. After one brutal summer and then a very cold winter, I expected to see much more dead than I did. Things are coming back and look healthy. I now can't wait for May & June when the first season's plants bloom again. They say it takes three years for a garden to fully mature. We're just starting the second year and I can already see that it will be a banner year! Thank you Barbara - you're a joy to work with and our garden is now a treasure to enjoy!

London Landscapes was absolutely wonderful to work with. Barbara is a genius at her craft, creating beautiful landscapes that were very customized for what we were looking for and maximized the use of our space. Our garden looks spectacular from so many different vantage points and the thoughtful plant and hardscape choices make for a garden that is a splendor for all of the senses. I have worked with Barbara on 2 gardens over almost 15 years and they only get better with time. She is pleasant and fair, and her long, rich relationships in the industry bring an expansive team to the table. Highly recommend.

My backyard is a sheer joy to behold. I smile every time I look at what Barbara Katz accomplished. And, the work she did this year to complete the back where the so-called vegetable garden was supposed to be is wonderful. The fig tree looks great now that it’s unencumbered by all the other stuff that was around it. I also appreciate her advice on lighting, lawn care services, irrigation -- even what water hose contraption to use. I'm very glad our mutual friend suggested that I call her. While she's stayed busy by word of mouth, more people deserve to know what a great job Barbara Katz and London Landscapes does.

Barbara worked with us to redesign and replant the back and side gardens of our 19th century carriage house in Baltimore, including a multi-season cottage/pollinator garden, creating new walkways and sitting areas, and incorporating new plants into an existing mature landscape. Always the professional, she brings a deep knowledge of plants and garden design to a truly exciting and fun collaborative process. She was generous with her time and always available to answer our questions. In addition, we used her preferred contractors for stone work and irrigation, and they all spoke very highly of her, both personally and professionally. We look forward to many years of gardening together.

Barbara was a great listener when we began the process of a major front garden renovation. We wanted a deer-resistant evergreen but also colorful garden. Her experience and expertise were obvious from the start. She presented us with 3 equally appealing plans one of which we chose to adopt with some modifications. She and her contractors were efficient and the job got done even quicker than we expected. A pleasure to work with from start to finish. Even from the start we had an amazing front landscape and now 3 years later it has matured beautifully. Bob
