Lowe's Home Improvement

I have visited Lowe’s several times this spring looking for the perfect baskets for my balcony. I love the Gerber daisy baskets with creeping Jenny. Unfortunately they were not available yet at previous visits. And this visit they were all in poor condition. I considered buying the discounted baskets and nursing them back to health. I decided to visit another location and had better luck. They do offer a huge selection and many of the plants are healthy.

Brought a Clearance fridge up to the employee so I could purchase it and he snagged the electronic price tag out of my hand and told me he can’t sell me it because it was clearenced out “too cheap”. When I asked what would be done he told me nothing, they aren’t selling it and will be bringing it out back to destroy it. Absolutely disgusting, especially in this economy. Also, after our issues with fridge delivery and being told we would be compensated after 4 weeks of run around with NOTHING, I will be going to Home Depot instead of Lowe’s in clay indefinitely.

Most the staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Tina. She helps everyone out and goes above and beyond for people. I would’ve given 5 stars but over the last 5-6 visits I continue to get a lady with an eye patch. Extremely rude, huffing and puffing is disgust, stating how much she hates her job. Today she made a nasty comment about me having a debit card and 2 credit cards on how irresponsible it is to have that many cards. Returned stuff to Home Depot today as well… all were great people!

Writing this mostly so I can maybe talk to a person who can actually help me instead of giving me the run around in an accent I can barely understand. I ordered a stove on 12/27. It wasn't delivered until 1/8. It was defective. I called Lowes on 1/9. They said they would send the install team back out. They rescheduled twice and didn't come back to look at the stove until 1/30. It was deemed to be a factory defect. I'm supposed to get a replacement. It is now 2/9, almost six weeks after my purchase and I still don't have a fully functional stove. Three times now I've called the Installation Services Team and three times I've been told "We will put a reminder in to update you in two days." This is unacceptable.

Nice large Lowe’s store, prices similar to Home Depot. Only issue I had was one employee in lumber area didn’t seem to friendly. Cashiers was excellent. Lots of good deals right now on all sorts of stuff
