Lowe's Home Improvement

Great selection of building products, wood , electrical, plumbing, appliances, cabinetry, and not to mention a garden center with lawn care products. This is a very convenient location due to there being no other home improvement store in the area. Staff here is friendly and prompt a plus for this location! Definitely would recommend for contractors to people that DIY!

I ordered materials hours in advance for curbside pickup at Lowe’s Home Improvement because I was short on time today. Four hours later, I called to check status. Lowe’s AI phone system explicitly said my order was ready and instructed me to park in curbside pickup and wait for the items to be brought out. I waited 30 minutes in curbside with no one coming out. I finally went inside, only to be told they hadn’t even started pulling the order yet, and that it would be another hour to pull what amounted to about 10 minutes worth of materials. At that point, I left—after wasting about an hour and a half of my limited time. It is ridiculous to go to a chain home improvement store for materials needed for an important project only to find that they don’t have them in stock. How many times do I have to visit and be told, “I’m sorry, we don’t have this,” when the website clearly shows it as available? I have to send my wife to get things because we don’t have anyone to watch our kids, leaving me free to continue fixing things around the house. She goes to the Lowe’s in Ruckersville, sits in an aisle with two screaming kids, and waits for an employee—often for 30 minutes or more—with no one in sight. Don't get anything delivered same day from this location! If the "3rd party" delivery person doesn't deliver to the requested location the assistant manager here straight up tell you that's not their problem because you chose same day delivery. Even though you pay Lowe's directly and they chose to "sub contract" the delivery it's not their problem, the snooty attitude having assistant manager lady up front will gladly tell you to kick rocks! Whoever promoted that person is a real smart one....do better Lowe's
