Lowl Appliance Repair

As a business owner, I don’t like to leave bad reviews as they can possibly hurt the reputation of a company. However, I do not want to let what happened to me happen to anyone else so I decided to leave a review. So, my fiancé called Lowl Appliance Repair to get a technician to come to our home and diagnose our washing machine. Our washing machine kept displaying an error message that said UB or unbalanced. The technician arrived on the date of our scheduled appointment, ran a quick wash cycle and proceeded to tell me that there was nothing he could do to fix my washing machine. He was there no longer than 15 minutes, and began to talk about how washing machines aren’t made how they used to be made and told me to buy a new one. He then charged me $70 and left. My dryer stopped heating. Before buying a new one, I thought I would try Lowl. I figured, while they were there, they could also take a look at my oven. Smelled like gas when I turned the broiler on, and the burner clickers did not work. A super nice guy showed up on time. Knocked all of repairs out pretty quickly. I am super happy (and so is my wife :). Prices were totally reasonable and fair. Highly recommend them.

I called to have my dryer repaired because it was not getting hot. I was told service fee is $70 & could go towards the repair. After inspection of my dryer, I was quoted almost $400 to repair it. I denied the repair as I can buy another dry for that price. I asked when I called could I pay with credit card and was told yes, but when I tried to pay there was a 4% fee to pay so I had to Zelle the service fee to them. The cost to fix the dryer was mostly labor & some maintenance fee that I did not understand. Why come to fix a dryer and quote a price of a new dryer? I had the same repair done over 2 years ago and it was only $75 or $100.00. I suggest being honest with customers before you come out to see them.
