Lumber Liquidators

My husband decided to go with butcher block for our countertops because they had a 12 ft piece . Then we wouldn’t have a seem at the sink. They told him that it had slight damage underneath and gave him an $80 discount. When he brought it home it was destroyed. They told us he could drive it back (4 hours round trip) to return it and they would get him a new one. They don’t usually allow returns but they knew it was damaged. Just come next Friday. Well next Friday came and he called to make sure they were ready for him. No, he had to make a new order and they weren’t able to get another 12 ft piece. Also, he couldn’t return the other pieces he had brought since he left with them. Even though they were knowingly sold to go with an absolute damaged one. Ok, I guess we go with what we have an

Cindy at Urbandale store is horrible at communicating and supporting her customers needs when something comes damaged. Customer care is just as bad. We got ripped off product we returned coming to us damaged. Sent us more damaged product to replace it and basically said pound sand when we didn't get credit for damaged flooring. DO NOT GO THERE!! It's no wonder they went bankrupt..good riddance!! Edited 6/24/25:: would like to reach out as you have responded but 800-HARDWOOD is too many digits for a phone number. If I had a good number to call I would gladly call. Cindy was helpful and nice at 1st, then the issues arose and she wasn't responding or very nice after the complaints. And my husband called customer service and was basically told you got what you're getting, so not sure what

Cindy at Lumber Liquidators has been great to work with. She’s knowledgeable about her flooring and always gives me honest feedback and is always very helpful! I love my new flooring. I also enjoy her spunkiness 😉

My sales representative Cindy was simply wonderful! She was helpful and patient! Even going as far as to call me to let me know a specific flooring had gone on sale! No other company had even followed up with me! Cindy is definitely an asset to your company!

We hit a major snag when we ran short on our maple wood flooring—right as we were 3/4 of the way through the install. Cue panic. The flooring had been discontinued, and it felt like we were hunting for a unicorn… in a forest fire. Enter Cindy. Not only did she find the exact flooring we needed in Tucson, AZ (seriously, how?!), but she wrangled the shipping details like a pro—despite scheduling headaches and all the usual freight frustrations. And somehow, she got it to us within a week. A WEEK. We are beyond grateful for her determination, communication, and pure flooring magic. Thanks to Cindy, our project didn’t stall out—and we now have a beautiful, complete floor to enjoy. Highly recommend working with her if you ever find yourself in a flooring fiasco. She’s a total rockstar.
