M3 Construction

We used M3 Construction in the fall of 2025 to complete a front and rear decks as well as pour a concrete slab for a lower patio. The job involved removing the existing wood deck and paver patio and replacing with TimberTech boards and aluminum rails. They were also able to add a staircase on the rear deck which was a major quality of life improvement. They communicated very well, stayed within the time estimate, and were very thorough and professional throughout. They handled all the permits and inspections and were excellent as far as attention to detail. My wife and I were extremely happy with the results and look forward to enjoying our new outdoor spaces once the weather warms up again. We wouldn’t hesitate to use M3 again for future projects.

Jacob Mason was recommended to me by word of mouth to work on a house extension (400 sq ft), gutting and renovation of the attic, and installation of a dormer and window in the attic stairway. We worked with his architect to finalize the plans using a CAD software, which facilitated decision-making and allowed for good input from Tim (the architect) and Josh Mason. The project also included pouring a concrete walkway and garage apron, installation of a gravel patio, sod for the backyard. Jacob was engaging, responsive and easy to communicate with, respectful, considerate, and very collaborative. We contracted with M3 for a total replacement and enlargement of our 35 year old deck and patio. The result is fantastic. We have more space and a deck that will outlive us and provide the future tenants a great deal of pleasure. The M3 Team was professional start to finish. They gave us options and made suggestions that enhanced our comfort and pleasure in having outdoor space. It isn't often you gain a friendship from a contractor relationship, though due to Jake's integrity, dedication, and resourcefulness we've done just that. I think we stretched the company's portfolio in our ambitious exterior re-design and they produced an exceptional result. Being very picky with design, and wanting to have this product completed for years, we appreciated the architect Jake recommended and M3's willingness to deliver the product we hoped for a reasonable price. Like any project on a house built in 1880, it grew in unforeseen costs, and Jake was quick to share options and give quality recommendations, and do edits throughout the process. Highly recommend M3 Construction. We had some water damage to our balcony area that ended up being much worse than we thought. M3 Construction helped us through the insurance claim process and even supplied photos they took turning demolition. Even though the project ended up going off schedule due to mold remediation, Josh ensured that the M3 crew was available to finish their job as soon as the mold was gone. In the end, we were thrilled with both the necessary repairs and impressive aesthetic upgrades. The quality of the work is exceptional!
