Majestic Wood Works

Recently had Majestic Wood Works install new stairway railing and balusters. Amazing experience from start to finish. We wanted to change out our outdated white/wood stairway railing/balusters to more modern design (metal + wood). John was extremely easy to work with-- provided quote and digital mockup within a few days of coming by in person and answered questions promptly. The craftsmanship of the carpenters on site was top notch and were extremely clean (cleaned up each afternoon when done for the day). Highly recommend Majestic Wood works! Johns crew did not bother to mask off bookcases at top and bottom of stairs and created a mess that i had to hire someone to clean up. Then after the job was completed and paid for i noticed a stair railing post was hanging over the wood floor by about a half inch. I spoke to john and he kept saying how busy he was and refused to set a date to return to fix his work . My bad for paying him but i had a big kitchen project that was taking my attention away from John's work. I thought he was a man with integrity but apparently not. Be careful using his company. Not acceptable in my world. Takes very little to make it right. Bad business practices…..photos available. Three months later and still had not returned to fix his work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, cant begin to tell you! Also ruined

I signed a contract for construction of a staircase and front steps with John Gomez, company owner, on August 22, 2023. Eight months later, and having been paid in full soon after he claimed the work was completed, I'm still having to call and text him and his brother, Edgar, several times a week to ask that he come back and correct and finish the job. A job that he told me would take 2 weeks dragged on for four months because he showed up once or twice a week instead of every day. His workers sometimes stayed a couple of hours before packing up and leaving for the day. After he said he had finished and got paid I noticed that some of the steps were completely loose, the posts were wobbly, the landing floor was cracked, and nosings were cracked. Had to start again with calls that he didn'

I did business with this company, they send their employee to give estimate, we agreed on the price that was on July 30,2013, They collected $3000. to start the job, after they collected the deposit they never showed up, I reported them to the contractor board, and I am filing law suits trying to collect my money from them, I do not recommend this company it is scam. Amazing custom staircases! Very impressive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for something unique for their home.
