Paid a lot of money to have this company build us our dream pond. The owner came and did test digs and said everything was good. After digging the pond, he stated when he got deep he hit sand. All fine he said, I’ll just back fill with clay and you’ll be set. He either did it wrong or failed in another area because we have had a leak for 4 years. He stated it will plug itself and you’ll be fine in 1-2 years. Nope. Then they promised to come back and use a material to try and plug the leak (we paid for product). Never showed up to apply the product as promised. I emailed recently and begged to have them come fix this issue as now we have to stare at our dream pond 20% full. They ignored all my emails. This company will not stand by their workmanship.

Well, my mother-in-law and I have now called between the two of us, I would say six times trying to get through to someone so that we could have a rather hefty job done. That would be well worth their time. But it seems to me as they are not interested and do not care to call us back. We get through to the office lady, but nothing more than that. I do not recommend this company as they’re poor communication does not make me confident on how their work will be. .

This is a 10 star review! From the first meeting to the completion of the job Mark's Construction met every mark on point. Their crew, professionalism and craftsmanship was nothing but outstanding! It was really nice to do business with a company that's family owned that you can trust! I'm honored and truly blessed to have them put nature in our backyard for our 25th wedding anniversary! Outstanding job guys and thank you for making our dreams come to life!

Marks Construction did an outstanding job repairing an inlet pipe into my pond that was 36" in diameter. This was a large job requiring a 30 foot backhoe. The workmen took all precautions to limit the damage to my property in bringing such a large piece of equipment onto my property and then cleaned up after they were done, which was especially appreciated since it was frigid outside. During the job, I asked one of the service men to make an extra cut on the metal piping to make the job better cosmetically and he accommodated my request perfectly. Overall five stars in quality of work, and a very fair price as well.

Mark is great at what he does. He takes the time to make sure you understand everything he is doing and why he is doing it that way. Do not call anyone else Marks Construction is hands down the best.
