While renovating a Lake Bluff home last year, we decided to renovate the landscaping as well. We had experience over 36 years with a variety of local landscapers, but we decided to work with Martin John. It took about two visits to know we made the right decision. From the initial planning through “demolition” of the old planting and install of new, everything went off as planned and on schedule. They handled the irrigation install and maintenance, lighting and the maintenance of booths Martin is accessible anytime we need him. His install crews and maintenance crews are great. (As an aside, Martin speaks fluent Spanish so there is never a communication issue with the crew) Our first season looked more like the third. Everything came in as we hoped. I highly recommend Martin John.

Martin and company did a great job on my landscaping. The transformation in the curb appeal is amazing. The functional space has been multiplied by a gazillion. They accomplished a big job in a short time. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

We recently had Martin John replace our old concrete walk and stoop with bluestone. We’re very satisfied with the workmanship and service. There was minor damage to a couple sprinkler heads which they fixed the same day. In addition to the walk, Martin suggested some work on the lawn that was completed the next day for a big improvement. Martin is exceptionally responsive, usually replying within minutes, and ensured that all work was completed in time for a big party we had the coming weekend.
