Mason City Roofing

They stated their flat roofs don’t leak but ours has been leaking since installed. They came out a couple times initially but the roof still leaks. We have been calling for close to a year now to have the leaks in the roof repaired but no one has been out to fix the roof. Our floor is raised up, the wood stove is rusted, and who knows how much damage is in the rafters. I would not recommend this company for any of your flat roofing needs. Super nice on the phone but do not follow up or do what they say they are going to. If i could do a negative star review i would.

This was my first experience re-roofing my house, and I have to say that I’m so glad that I picked Mason City Roofing. Super friendly customer service. They were able to come out and do and estimate the same day I called (their estimate was less than the insurer adjuster had down). When the roofers came, they had my house done in 1.5 days (and that included ripping off 3 layers of shingles). They did a great job cleaning up after themselves - never would know they were there except for a great looking roof.

This rarely happens so it was decided that we would like to share our experience. We had a young gentleman who lives in Derek's neighborhood that was invited to come down to the shop. Mason City Roofing helped this young man learn great life experience, see and observe role models acting with integrity, and finish his goal. The owners of this business are stand up gentlemen that should be acknowledged for being a great part of the community in Mason City.

I agreed to their proposal to remove and replace shingles and to convert the venting from box vents to ridge vent. The proposal stated all costs were included except siding work (if needed) and rotten wood (if found). My dissatisfaction is with the final bill having a surprise $250 charge. When questioned they said it was to fill the holes left from the removed box vents. I questioned why the charge was not listed on the proposal even though they knew holes would be exposed from the vents they proposed to remove!!! All I've received are a series of nonsensical explanations. Feels like I'm being fleeced. The installation crew did a fantastic job, the roof looks great! I was ready to give a glowing 5 star review until this debacle.

Quoted a price, billed for more. They admitted they made a mistake but wouldn’t budge from their new price. Didn’t even know about their error until 2-4 weeks after the work was done. Terrible service.
