I’m a state lic. General Contractor and a carpenter by trade. Building my own fence would be very easy, however, every trade has their tricks of the trade so I always look to the specialized teams. I got a quote from another company, price was fine but I just had a gut instinct he would not be the right fit for me. Not one for getting lots of prices, I figured I would check Matthews Fencing. After all they have a location and been there forever, what do I have to lose. I reached out over the weekend and got a response within 24 hours. Rough budget was provided, and we set up an appointment to come out and measure. The rep arrived on time and even called 30 minutes out. Looked over and measured and said he would get a quote back that day…. And he did. Price was comparable but at that point,

Matthews Fence did an amazing job. They scheduled us within a reasonable time. They had to postpone one day due to rain, which was fine with us. Then they worked so quickly, I couldn't believe it. The fence looks fabulous. The hinges and latches on the gates are high quality and work well. The posts are even height as are the rails. We highly recommend them.

I hope this review will help you go elsewhere. This company does not stand by its product and has a 60 day warranty… 60 days. What fence only has a 60 day warranty. Of course, our fence started to degrade after 4 months so we were not covered under warranty and are going with a new company to fix their distasteful job.

I wasn't here when they installed my fence and when I came home I almost cried I was so happy with everything about this fence. I had great customer service with Matthews Fence. They replied in a short time and scheduled a time to come out and give an est. Once I agreed to the particular fence, it was less than 2 weeks with the installation. I would recommend Matthews Fence to everyone. I got several other prices from other companies and Matthews Fence came in way way lower. Overall I am so very happy with my fence and would tell anyone to get a quote.
