MBS replaced my external HVAC unit in June 2024. While the installation seemed fine at the time, I was never provided with a warranty number, despite multiple requests and follow-up calls. Less than a year later, the unit stopped working. I contacted MBS again, and while they initially responded, they completely stopped replying after that—no follow-up, no resolution, despite repeated emails and messages over the next two weeks. I was left without air conditioning in hot weather and no support from the company that had installed the unit, which was still under warranty. I had to call another company, which quickly diagnosed the issue: the electric wires were left exposed during MBS’s installation, causing the failure. Can not recommend MBS enough! We initially used MBS during a heat wave when we were concerned about losing our AC with a newborn in the house. Matt was flexible and came to service our unit almost immediately. He was so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly that we continued to use him for all maintenance needs until we moved. He even helped us with maintenance for the sale of our house. Matt has great attention to detail and perfects his work to the best of his ability. MBS Mechanical’s prices are also extremely reasonable. If you are within service range this should be your HVAC service company.

Matt was so helpful. He spent 1.5 HRS after a full day to make sure he was able to diagnose the problem accurately and got me back to running. I will be using him in the future for my HVAC needs.

Cannot say enough great things about Matt and his team. He is friendly, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. I was initially referred to Matt by my former HVAC company when we moved out of their area (from the Washington DC burbs to the Baltimore burbs). I have him to our house 1-2 times per year for maintenance and discussions as to whether it's time to replace our systems (two zones: furnace-A/C and heat pump). He could have told me on his very first visit that we needed to drop lots of money for new systems (they are original, more than 20 years old).
