McKim Septic & Pumping

We moved back into this house in July. The quick story. Our GC set up another septic company to locate the exact location of a forced main (over 300’) as well as the main tank, d box. They came ill prepared and after two late afternoon ( into darkness) attempts they only located the tank which was easy as there was clean out nearby and only 2/3rds of the forced main. My partner and I have prior history with this property dating back to 2014. As we were navigating thru deciding if we truly needed the additional info. I asked if she had any recollection of ever having the system pumped. We decided to call McKim. They returned our weekend inquiry on a Sunday and referenced the as built drawing and asked if we wanted the additional tank on the forced main pumped as well. The previous septic co

McKim Septic is great! We had a pump failure that was noticed when our high level alarm went off today. They came out within hours and pumped then replaced our pump. Great technicians and very prompt service. I would highly recommend!

They helped us when no one else would even return my calls! And they fixed the major problems that a different “reputable” company had ignored and refused to work on even after I paid them top dollar for an inspection. The other company was a waste of my time and money. McKim was professional and offered timely service and problem solving. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

This company has misled us since 2006 for services not rendered!. They took advantage of unknowing consumer who assumed they have been doing our septic inspections and clearing out our drains. After all these years, we recently found out their records do not even show our correct drain area and when they have been taking our money, they have not been doing the work! Crooks! Our drain area now has 13 grown trees that has grown around the area. Now they finally realized their guys having been looking at the wrong area, they tell us we have to clear our trees out for them to get in to clear. Had they been doing their jobs properly, they would have told us many years ago that this area needed to be cleared out before they can do the septic inspection. Amazing response time! We arrived home from vacation to the septic alarm going off - could have been very bad. A truck arrived within an hour of our call, the problem was diagnosed, and the problem was fixed quickly. Couldn't ask for more.
