We had our home built a little over 2years a 3500 square feet. With one air conditioner unit. Which should have been two units. Now that one unit has gone out after getting it serviced every 6 months now to be told that the compressor has gone out after barley using the ac system. Having to spend over 400,000 dollars on a new home, we have had some many problems. Now having to sit in a hot house over 80 degrees with young kids in the house is not acceptable. And trying to under stand why two units wasn’t installed on this home. Everyone else has two units installed. This is a brand new home built by Dr Horton.And have been having problems the whole two years we’ve been here. I would tell anyone not to do business with this company and Dr Horton. I ended up with Metro Mechanical through a Home Depot inspection/service call for zip code 30035. Steve came out and was the nicest guy ever. He was very thorough and he seemed like he really cared. Even though my system was approx. 10+ years old, he didn't try and talk me into buying another unit unnecessarily. He explained many things to me and gave me tips on keeping my system in good shape until it needs replacement. When my system does need replacing I will definitely be giving them a call and hopefully they will send me Steve again.

This company is a rip off. They took advantage of 80 year old mom. She bought a home with a ac/heating unit that was still under warranty from Home Depot! They technician they sent out was rude and scared my mom to death. It took them 3 attempts and $800 later to get it up and running again. Every time the guy cane out the would spend hours and couldn’t get it fixed and ended up tearing up more than what was originally wrong and she got charged for it. I called and complained and no one done anything about it. I left several messages with Kevin the supervisor and he has yet to return my call. I told them not to send the technician out that frightened my mom and they still sent the same man! They would leave and say they would be back and never show back up or call! I will be reporting this

This company was contracted by my home builder to instal our HVAC. First of all, these units were installed at the beginning of June this year on the OPPOSITE side of home specified in the house plan. Second, the units were installed the day before my wedding (which took place at the home) and we're wired backwards! Meaning, when I turned on the AC that morning the system began blowing out hot air. By the time I was walking out of my house and down the isle it was 90 degrees in my home. Called warranty services several times that day but could never get in touch with anyone. Had a family friend come and fix that one. NEXT, 2 months into living in our new home our AC goes out. **UPDATE BELOW: I am so disappointed to have had to initiate a dispute with American Express today over a payment made to Metro Mechanical. They had been my HVAC contractors for more than 10 years. Last week they came to perform the spring maintenance and said all was well except two of my AC units were old and will need replacing soon. The next day one of my AC units stopped blowing cold. They sent another tech who told me that the compressor had locked up, couldn't be fixed, needed to be replaced and it was best to replace the entire unit. Before spending $4,000+, I got a second opinion, who found that the unit's contactor was faulty (a $230 device) but the compressor was fine. He also found a burnt wire and wiring that was reversed — "that the herm was connected to the fan and the fan w
