I’ve moved about 3 times in the last 10 years, and this was by far the smoothest. From the very beginning, MidAmerican Moving was thorough and transparent. We did a video estimate with the sales rep and also shared photos of our items. The team clearly reviewed everything in advance, which helped make the estimate accurate and realistic. I found MidAmerican Moving through a Facebook ad. I worked with John to book the move and sent over a detailed inventory of my stuff. He stayed in touch the whole time, double-checking items, answering questions, and making sure the quote made sense. The final price closely matched the quote John gave me. One big reason I went with MidAmerican was that they let me pay by credit card. A few other companies I talked to only wanted cash or money orders, which felt a little sketchy to me, so this was a huge plus. I've probably used about 9 different companies and this time I decided to go with Mid-American and I must say LU AND HIS CREW WERE THE BEST CREW I HAVE EVER HAD RELOCATE ME!! Within just one hour, my entire living room was completely packed and wrapped with care. Everything was well protected, and I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. I recently moved with them for work and overall had a positive experience. The movers were organized and even helped me sort items between my apartment and the garage, since there wasn’t enough space inside for all the boxes. I was charged a little extra for the sorting time, but the driver explained it clearly and it made sense. They also took great care of my belongings, especially a glass-front cabinet that arrived without a scratch. One detail I really appreciated was the thick mattress covers they used — much better quality than the ones I had purchased at Home Depot.
