Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing

The guys did an excellent job on my basement in my old house. For years, there were no issues. They installed their french drain system and a sump pump and it worked flawlessly. I have since sold that house. I heard from the new owners that the volume of rain during the storms overwhelmed the sump pump and some water did get in. Unfortunately, Mid Atlantic is now out off business in MD and I wasn't able to provide a contract number for the lifetime warranty.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We canceled services with them and despite the contract saying they would refund our money back in 10 days, we did not receive the reimbursement. After calling them several time, they would transfer us to no one, wouldn't return messages that were left, and we could never speak to someone that was aware of our situation. Then at 8:30 at night, 15 days after canceling the service they called us trying to offer us "lower rates".

Couldn't get an answer on any of their phone numbers. Googled them and it appears they are out of business without ever notifying their customers! Hastings anyone resumed responsibility for their existing customers? What about their Transferable Lifetime System Warranty? Who is going to honor it now?

They cut open my floor to put sump pump in 2 times because they crushed the existing drains. Plugged pipes at main stack. Had to cut out service pipe. Ist time pump kicked ok it broke all the plumbing in the sump. I called about 6 times an no answer. Finally I got an answer. I was telling her what happened any she said the covid epidemic is making them close to try later.

My wife called to get an estimate for an internal French drain. Salesman said he wouldn’t give estimate because I wasn’t home and that he wouldn’t get credit for it. Would not recommend them to anyone.
