We got three estimates for mold removal in our basement — one for $10,000, another for $2,000, and a third for $4,000 from Guy the company we ultimately chose. We discussed the process and what would be done to remove both visible and hidden mold. On the day of the mold removal, we were surprised at how little time was spent on the job — less than 10 hours total — for a $4,000 project. Unfortunately, we paid in check without first verifying what had been completed, which we now recognize was a mistake. After the team left, my husband inspected the basement and immediately noticed that visible mold still remained. We called Guy, who came back to review the area and agreed that additional work was needed. He sent another employee, who spent about three hours on follow-up work. After that,

I had a water line break in my basement which caused my basement to have water damage. I called Mid Ohio Water and Restoration and Guy Mitchell was out the very next day to assess the damage. He explained all findings very thoroughly and was able to get the basement dried out within a few days. I would recommend this company to anyone. Very polite, professional, and reasonable price.
