Midsouth Fence and Deck

When we set out to find someone good and reliable - and affordable! - to build a deck behind our house and install a privacy fence on the side, we approached 5 local vendors with good reviews. 4 replied and visited our property to look at what we needed. Only 2 of them actually gave us estimates, although the others kept promising an estimate... for WEEKS. So we went with Mid-South Fence because their quote was about 30% lower than the other vendor, and they seemed to actually want the job. We were not disappointed. The workers showed up, did a great job, used high quality materials, cleaned up their mess, and were just good guys. While the promised 3-5 day job took more like 3 weeks, a LOT of that was due to the unseasonal amount of rain we had during that time - DAYS OF HEAVY RAIN!.

We just had our second story deck completed by the incredible professionals at Mid-South Fence and Deck. We had a new deck built six years ago using pressure treated dimensional lumber. That was removed by Mid South Fence and Deck, and this time we used a 24’ steel I beam to support the deck, and Trex Ascend decking. It is worth every penny. Everything was described to us beforehand, and that is exactly what we received as completed work. The crew was a delight to be around and watch them use true craftsmanship to build our deck. The lighting for the post caps adds such an element of style, and safety. We could not be more pleased with every element of our Mid-South Fence and Deck addition to our home.

The guys with Midsouth Fence and Deck tore out our dilapidated old deck and replaced it this past week. The deck is beautiful and even better than I had pictured in my mind. The crew was prompt, friendly, and worked 12 hour days for 4 days to complete our project quickly. We couldn't be more pleased and would recommend their services to anyone needing deck, fence, or pergola work done.

Started with a deck that measured approximately Huge X Gigantic. The "old" pic shows where I had to cover up a giant rotted hole in the middle of the patio. Called Bob from Midsouth Fence and Deck and got a call back within an hour. He sent Rene to assess our patio and to my relief the framing was fine. It only needed the decking replaced (which saved us a ton of money) but we also opted to take the opportunity to cut out part of the rail to install another set of steps. Bob and Rene helped us decide on a concrete landing and they even took the extra steps to reverse the hinges on the patio lower access door so that it could still be opened and closed under the new steps.
