I have dealt with many reps, linemen, management and even Brian and LaDee with their HowSmart/energy program. Great people all the way around and a great company--we are lucky to have them here in NW Kansas! Lastly, I will note on the rare occasion we have a power outage it typically doesn't last longer than 20 minutes which speaks volumes to the work these guys do!

Shady company, I called and quit my services with Midwest because I was moving in Late December. Even had a letter of credit sent to the new electric company but I guess it didn’t stick because I just found out today I’ve been paying for January AND February.

I just had a wonderful customer service experience over the phone with Landon. He was extremely helpful, offered services, explained the process of what I needed to have done, and was extremely personable on the phone. His telephone and customer service skills were excellent!! Great job Landon!!

I've been a customer for over 10 years. Finally signed up in February for budget bill pay. Since then, my payment has increased 4 times. How is this budget friendly? I may as well continued with paying monthly. Started at $187 and am now at $340. Was not notified of the last increase and was shocked. Even after calling and informing them that I was not authorizing the payment, it was still taken out of my account. Not happy with their 'budget' bill pay when it has changed 4 times within 6 months.

Midwest Energy is charging their customers a higher electric energy charge than what they are advertising. The advertised rate has been in a Midwest Energy brochure, current comments newsletter that was sent out with the bills, facebook post along with a youtube video and another internet post. I've tried many times trying to get Midwest Energy to correct the information and they are not willing to. I've heard excuses. I've been told it's just pennies. If they calculate ALL of Midwest Energy customers it would be in the thousand of dollars. I've followed Midwest Energy's complaint process and it doesn't do any good. Justin has been the most helpful. The CEO hasn't responded to my email. The chair of the board hasn't responded to my emails. This again shows very poor customer servi
