Snow removal is terrible at best. Plows up the yard pushing snow. I had enough and do it myself. But this morning they plowed the sidewalk with a blade that’s too wide. Again dug up sod? Will they ever learn.

My builder used Midwest Landscapes for my new house. While many plants and trees survived the first year, two trees and 5 plants died after the first year. Clearly those that died weren't healthy when planted. I had to badger them to come out and fulfill their warranty obligation the next summer. All the replacements except one plant subsequently also died. When I contacted then to do the right thing, they hid behind their warranty contract rather than doing the right thing and replacing the clearly unhealthy trees and plants they used for replacements. I wouldn't recommend this company for individuals or builders. They just have too many unhealthy trees and plants and just do the bare minimum and move on.

I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with Midwest Landscapes in regards to irrigation systems. My builder uses them so for the first year I used them too. First, the irrigation system they installed was done poorly. Many of the heads were installed outside of property lines, they had to relocate mine and a few of my neighbors’. After they came to do the work, they left both my fence gates wide open. I was lucky to catch that before my two dogs could get out. I had them come out to blow out my system for the winter in the Fall of 2024. It was challenging to get scheduled for spring 2025 start up. They called and stated there was a rare opening only to have no one show up and then get told a week later I never responded to them if I wanted to schedule when I have call records showing th

Grading was done 2 months before sod was installed so it doesn’t drain properly. Submitted a warranty request for a diseased tree and was denied replacement. Do NOT recommend this company.

My builder used Midwest for landscaping and trees. Two trees were planted with little care and in the spring one was dead. They replaced the dead tree with another struggling tree that had no chance to survive. Their warranty period is 12 months and one replacement. So they replaced a sick tree with a sicker tree and that satisfied their warranty replacement and nothing else is required. Avoid!
