I splurged for a top end side mount motor. It was one of my Christmas presents to my wife, who was often annoyed by our loud contractor-grade garage door opener. Now you might think that's a crummy Christmas present, but we've be married almost 50 years, and sometimes it makes sense to prioritize the little things. I asked Brando to mount the motor next to the outer garage wall because the opposite end shared the wall with our master bedroom. However, my preferred end of of the garage had very little clearance for the motor installation. The easy thing would have been for Brando to tell me "Too bad, but there's not enough clearance." Brando came out on a Sunday night within 20 minutes of calling. Assessed our door, was up front with pricing, gladly explained and answered everything patiently, and fixed the door for the agreed upon price right then and there. I did not have to negotiate as the up front pricing was fair and never changed throughout the job. We appreciated the service so much, we set up another appointment with Brando for the following day to do more optional upgrade work on the garage door.
