This review is for Emily, the kitchen and bath designer at Modern Builders Supply in Ypsilanti, MI. She is FANTASTIC!!!! We had a house built, which is very stressful, but the kitchen and bath design portion went so smoothly with Emily’s help. She has a great eye for space and design, she thinks ahead and guides with thoughtful questions to help you make good decisions, she knows her products inside and out, she’s very detailed, she’s super easy to work with and willing to answer all sorts of questions, and very kind. She helped us design our kitchen and bathrooms and because we liked her so much we went back for help designing our basement kitchenette as well. Modern Builders Supply has an absolute gem in Emily.

Kaity and the entire staff at MBS are amazing . I highly recommend them Over all the suppliers I have dealt with for the last 38 years . You can’t go wrong the Yosilant branch is amazing !

Helpful staff always a good laugh. More than fair prices (on the products I purchase anyway), and if it's not in stock, they'll order it for you. Just watch out for the magnet in the Malco bits, mine broke the first day on the first screw. But that's not MBS fault, it's Malcos fault. This is the second ¼ inch driver bit by Malco the same thing happened to the first one, from a different store however.

I'm a local contractor and have purchased everything from kitchen cabinets, windows and siding from MBS over the years. Pat and staff have bent over backwards to make sure my orders were correct and delivered on time, even though I only make a few purchases a year. I just purchased a new Polaris (MBS Brand) patio door and siding for my own home. Very reasonable price and a very solid door. I must add, over the years I've been treated like family when I walk in the door.

Outstanding place to get kitchen designed and get everything needed for renovation. Emily is simply the best, anyone can design a big kitchen. Emily designed us a small footprint so called Frankfurt kitchen that doubled storage and counter space, and made it easier to use. At less cost all inclusive than a cabinet refacing was quoted by others!
