Modern Pest Control

We discovered a large bald face hornet nest in our front yard that was suspended by a very thin cedar branch about 25 feet off the ground. I was very concerned that it could fall and break open at any time sending a big group of mad hornets out looking for anyone they could attack. I called about 6 potential companies for an appointment to come out right away and Modern Pest Control showed up on time the next day to address the issue. The technician was very friendly and got the job done in just a few minutes. I am very happy with their immediate response and I would certainly recommend this company.

This company was great, very thorough, patient and they have great communication. I took over the management position and had to let go of the current vendor and they came in, listened to my residents and have been thought since and helped us remedy the pest issue. I would give them 10 stars if i could but you will be in great hands if this is for your personal home and or your clients properties.

I’ve been using Modern Pest Control since the latter part of July 2025, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. The technician assigned to my home, August, has come out multiple times to address ongoing sugar ant issues and to check for possible rodent activity. Despite repeated visits, nothing has improved. Each visit lasts about five minutes. There’s no visible inspection, no explanation of what’s being done, and no meaningful follow‑through. For the sugar ants specifically, I was told they would “die off in a few days,” yet the ants continue to flourish in the bathroom and bedroom. We were incredibly happy with our technician, August. He was absolutely amazing and the best pest control technician we've ever had! He was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He was great at his job!
