Derek did a phenomenal job with our kitchen remodel. His attention to detail is incredible and he made sure we were happy during the entire process. All of our doors and drawers are perfectly aligned and the paint job is incredible. He is meticulous and it shows. It’s hard to believe it’s the same kitchen!! We have so many great things to say about Derek and cannot recommend him enough!!

Modish Wood Design did an amazing job with my cabinets! …they really exceeding our every expectation and I still have more work to complete with them (floating shelves, custom closets remaining). Derek’s eye for the keenest of details puts one’s mind at ease, knowing the finished job will basically resembling the plans, rendering. Mr. Pearson’s initial response timeliness and his honest evaluation of our goals were key to our hiring him. His prompt communication was present throughout the job. Our kitchen cabinets had some challenges, but Derek worked through everything and beyond, and we’re very happy with the results. Completely new cabinets were not in our budget, but we are so pleased with Derek’s suggestions and work to bring them to life! His helpers are as neat and pleasant as he is. Would not hesitate to partner with him again!!

I'm really happy with the built-ins that Derek designed and installed in my home office. Overall, the process took us close to 3 months (mostly because Derek had other jobs already lined up), but he remained in contact to ensure that he took proper measurements of the space, understood my requirements, and execution. The installation took about 2.5 days in total, but the end result is spectacular. I would hire him for other jobs and absolutely recommend him to my friends and neighbors. Moreover, my dog loves it and approved it too!! Thank you Derek!
