Moises Landscaping

I hired Moises Landscaping for two projects: fall yard cleanup and flagstone patio repair. The yard cleanup was okay, but their blowers lifted my weed fabric in multiple areas, which will need to be fixed. The patio work was unsatisfactory. Over time, the original patio had developed a low spot where water pooled. I hired Moises to regrade the patio so it would slope gently toward the yard, and then fill the flagstone joints with mortar/concrete. Moises was not present on the final day of work. After his crew completed their work, the patio now has multiple low spots. The patio does not slope toward the yard; in places it slopes toward the house and in others toward a retaining wall. We have a somewhat elevated concrete patio that needed to be updated for safety and aesthetics. We went to A.H. Reiff in Carlisle to look at block options, and asked if they could recommend any local contractors since we're new to the area, and were given Moises Landscaping's contact information. Moises was quick to respond, gave us a reasonable quote, and was able to start / complete the job within a month of the initial contact. He and his crew did an outstanding job, and were very professional and thorough. They installed a knee (seat) wall, and surrounded the patio with steps in the places where the ground isn't level -- everything turned out beautifully! We highly recommend using Moises Landscaping.

Like several others, I had a terrible experience with Moises Landscaping. Our builder used them to do the original seeding and referred us to him to spread top soil and seed the edge of the driveway after the top coat was completed. After a month of phone calls, texts, no shows, and excuses, we finally had to move on. Even our builder commented that while Moises likes to do work for him, he's had several bad experiences with other homowners. Unfortunately I ended up wasting a month of prime growing time.

We had rocks delivered that we were unable to move on our own. Moises came with an excavator and positioned the large rocks for us. Great service and even took away the packing debris.

What a horrible experience! These guys are lazy and when they were planting new seed, they brought dirt that looked like it came from a very Rocky landfill. Huge rocks and some nasty vegetation. Big ruts and old grass seed which did not grow. Also the straw looked like it was used over and over. Grass never grew and we had to rototill all of it, huge huge rocks and hundreds of small rocks. Worst job ever! Do not hire these cheap, lazy men!
