We reached out to Mayflower for a quote on a move from Syracuse NY to Florida . We were put in touch with a Long Island Company who is part of the Mayflower Group called Molly Moving & Storage in Farmingdale . I thought from the very beginning it seemed strange to me that a company in Long Island NY would be handling a move that is about 5 hours outside of their area. This move quote should have been given to one of Mayflowers affiliate companies in the Syracuse region right from the start . From what I learned there are at least 2 or 3 companies of Mayflower dealers in that area . So I continued with Molly against my better judgement and worked with one of their sales agents on what we needed to complete this move . I was quoted what I thought was a binding estimate . We had an extremely disappointing experience with Mayflower/Molloy and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for moving services. We hired this company for a long-distance move from New York to South Carolina, and what should have been a smooth process turned into a stressful ordeal. The New York crew was unprofessional and careless with our belongings. Our furniture and boxes were handled roughly, and our walls and ceilings were damaged during the move-out process. Although we had already planned to provide lunch for the moving crew, before we even had the chance to offer, they told us we needed to buy them lunch. A great interstate moving experience. I was on the receiving side, and all I can say is Dennis and Jose are moving professionals. All items arrived in perfect shape after having been carefully packed and loaded on the truck. Upon arrival at the destination, the items where carefully loaded into a storage facility where they will be kept for the next six months or so until new home move in day. The items are well positioned in the storage unit should we need to locate a particular box or item in the interim. I highly recommend this service from beginning to end. I'd like to thank all at Molly Bros / Mayflower for the excellent service, great communication and attention to detail. I recommend them to all.

Molloy Brothers helped us move out with little pain and stress, and helped us move back home with little pain and stress! Everything was wrapped and protected professionally when it was removed—quickly, I might add! When the guys brought it all back, they placed everything where we asked them to and assembled beds, etc. They were sensational! Our mediator at their office, Hope, kept us updated on costs and timelines and then went above-and-beyond to lend a sympathetic and calming ear when we spoke. I got a free therapy session in the bargain! We were thrilled with the service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Let me start by saying that I move and relocate offices for a living so my expectations are very high. I never worked with Molloy before and I can not state enough how amazing of a company this is. I was doing a move in NYC, while in another state. They reviewed the apartment for me, documented everything and gave me a very appropriate and reasonable quote - they even gave me a few options. The packing team was efficient, careful and kind. The moving crew drove from NYC to Philadelphia and unpacked everything all in the same day and also did an amazing job. Hands down the best moving company I have ever worked with.
