Initial review 3 stars: This year was the second time Molon put the black stuff on our driveway. First time was done better. This year there was a rather large oops on our concrete. It was taped, but someone was over zealous spreading. There were a few areas with spatter, also. I make a bit of a mess when I do it myself. That’s why I pay someone else. They should have re-blown the leaves, needles, and grass as it is now embedded. Final review 4 stars: Molon contacted me after the initial review saying someone would be out to fix the mess. They were out, did a great job cleaning, were friendly and apologetic.

After using a few other asphalt contractors over the years, I decided to give Molon a chance to see what they could do sealing my 36 year old driveway. It had been 3 years. They did a thorough prep job with edging and filling some cracks. The topping was liberally applied. The team worked together well and were friendly. They took their time and did an excellent job - on a hot day! Definitely will call Molon when my driveway needs it again.

Matt’s expertise is very evident from the start. We had a large driveway project that he handled in an exceptionally professional manner. We look forward to our next project with Matt and Molon Asphalt this fall. There are many opportunists in the asphalt business. It is good to know there are still legitimate professionals like Matt and Molon in the business. Remember when it comes to asphalt, you get what you pay for. Molon is probably not the cheapest but you never have to worry about them laying asphalt too thin or not laying down a good sub-surface.

Molon installed the driveway and completed the first sealer after the first year. Very professional crews and high attention to detail. I recommend Molon to all my friends. Honest and great customer service.

We live on a private road in Traverse City. Over the past ten years the road started showing signs of age. Between cracks and a small sinkhole it was time to repair the road. My association contacted several companies to get estimates. Until we were extremity fortunate to contact Molon other companies wanted to rebuild the entire road. Molon sent out Dave McLeod to assess our road and give us his recommendation. Molon's staff and especially Dave were very professional in their assessment. Dave's recommendation was to first repair the small section where the sinkhole was located. Then repair edges where the road was starting to crumble. Molon saved our association over $20,000.00. Once several sections were repaired Molon came back two weeks later to seal cracks and seal the entire road. T
