Moore’s lumber & hardware has everything you’d need for the job. Prices are very reasonable too. I purchased 15 gallons of paint today and associate Warren helped me get the right paint for the job and took the time to get it right even when the computer program didn’t want to cooperate. Melissa even jumped in to make sure my needs were met. Very pleased to have a small town hardware store close by. Convenient and friendly.

The store staff is always welcoming and helpful. As a small business owner they make my purchases quick and easy. The lumber selection is awesome and the guys in the back do a great job of getting you loaded and on your way.

Oh my I can not recommend anyone getting paint from this store. The formula was a 25% less color from the wall color, for the ceilings. Nobody could get it right from 1 gal to the next. I have a mess now and my living room will have to be completely ceiling repainted! Debbie

I recently discovered Moore's when I bought a vacation property in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by their lumber department variety as well as their pricing (I did the research and called around comparing prices). They have ALWAYS had everything I need in stock. This is an excellent opportunity to support local business. I drive past one of the "Big Box" stores to conduct business with them every time I come up there from the city. Another reason to love Dahlonega!

Don't waste your time go I ng to Home Depot. Moore's has everything you need. The pricing is the same or better than the big chains. Best of all, the staff actually acts like you're important! They remember how to treat customers, which is a rarity in this day and age...
