We had Mosley Masonry come to our house to reline the inside of our fireplace and flu. They are a company in the area that uses the “heat shield” cement lining in existing flues. They quoted to us a good deal as compared to a new fireplace insert and new stove pipe up the chimney. This technique saved us almost $8000.00 over another company that didn’t offer this alternative. The other company’s solution was a new insert with new stove pipe in the flu. So, we wanted to keep our open fireplace as it was one of the selling points of the house to us. So 2 guys showed up on the day we requested (03-22/24) around 9:00 and were very professional, clean, and friendly). They took time to tell us the steps they were going through to reline the chimney. Had a little of bit issues getting a call back when I wanted to schedule the service I got a quote on, but the service and communication after that was amazing! They were able to schedule me quickly before winter hit and they finished the work promptly!
