We knew upon the purchase of our house that we'd need to do a good amount of stucco remediation, so our realtor connected us with Murtagh Bros and we're so glad she did. As expected, we found a lot more work than expected up front - our chimneys were shot and had to be completely torn down and rebuilt, as did our front portico - but Murtagh was honest about it, communicated our options, worked quickly, were as clean and respectful of our property as a contractor can be and we're so happy with our new siding. They also repainted our soffits and fascia, redid our gutters, and installed our new outdoor porch and garage lighting we'd purchased. Truly a full service crew. We were so pleased with their work that after I put my foot through our deck last winter (home ownership is fun, isn't it!

We contracted with Murtagh Construction for our stucco repair work. Paul, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating in his explanation of all our options. Whenever additional issues were found the firm was very fair in providing the additional work at very fair prices. We used Murtagh brothers to remove all stucco from our home and replace with Hardie board and stone. If you want the first class experience, look no further! Paul, Eric and his crews are professional, courteous, considerate and do beautiful work. Communication was excellent, we always were well informed. They stayed on schedule, even through challenging snow storms. They clean up every day after work is done. Paul has incredible vision, show him a picture, and he’ll build it! I hired Murtagh Bros. Inc. to replace the stucco on my home in Philadelphia and I highly recommend them. Due to the restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to reschedule and I was unable to be in Philadelphia to observe the work. In spite of the obstacles created by the pandemic, Paul Murtagh kept in good contact with me and agreed to final payment pending a professional inspection of his work by a licensed home inspector. Paul Murtagh's work passed inspection, he kept to the schedule we agreed on, and he completed work within the budget we agreed upon with no unexpected charges. Best of all, my house looks beautiful.
