Although it was after hours, MVP responded to a voicemail within the hour and Jonathan was at our house within MINUTES of making contact. I hired Merrimack Valley Plumbing to install a boiler in my home, and my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. While the boiler functions, the installation process and quality of work raised numerous red flags. I want to share my experience to help others make an informed decision when considering this company. Installation Issues Code Violations: The exhaust is less than 3 feet from the gas meter, and the holes drilled in the joists for intake and exhaust are less than 2 inches from the bottom, both of which do not meet code requirements. Improper Venting: Both the exhaust and intake vents are installed too close to the ground (not meeting the 12-inch clearance required for expected snowfall) and are too close to each other (less than the 12-inch separation required). This company was a nightmare to work with. I had an older heating system that needed to be replaced. I called this company and at first as they seemed great but through the whole process they failed to communicate properly and delivered bad service. I literally needed to call this company constantly for an issue with my new heating system. There was a point we’re there was no hot water for my tenants, the thermostat was not working and had to be replaced , also water that needed to be shot off that no one explained to me that was apart of the process. The last straw was this week where the heat was not working properly and I had to reach out to them as I have tenants. This was our buy a new hot watertime using Merrimack Plumbing. Our first experience with them was to buy a new hot water heater. The price , professional way rhe plumber advised us about the various heaters,his professional installation and fair pricing made it easy to call when we had a small problem with the shower valve. Came the next day and fixed it . Their company is the BEST!!!
