If you are looking to hire a handyman look no further than Nearby Handy Guy. I would highly recommend Zak and his crew for any project you may have small or large. Shame on me waiting too long to write this review being a business owner myself I know people often take time to criticize and seldom the more important time to praise. I have hired Nearby Handy Guy on countless occasions and having a home built in the early 1900’s there are many times to come. Zak, the amazing HandyGuy, is not only a talented and timely handyman, but also happens to be a kind, thoughtful and overall wonderful human. Zak remodeled our bathroom for us, and I was thrilled with the process AND result! He was incredibly communicative (always let us know his plans and timing), very careful with messes (always cleaned up after himself and protected the work area with plastic sheeting, ran paper runners over the areas he needed to access), reasonable with pricing (after the fair initial bid, any surprises he ran by us with his quote), and the end result was stunning (see pictures)! I wholeheartedly recommend Zak to anyone and everyone. No one finer for handyguy services!

Zak and his crew were consumate professionals with exceptional detailed oriented skills. We have a steep pitched roof that required a tricky repair at the apex as well as the surrounding soffits. After failing to get mutliple prominent East Metro area construction and roofing companies to help us, I reached out to Zac who quickly dropped my house to examine the problem and come up with a clear and concise quote. His communication leading up to and during the job was prompt. The boom lift malfunctioned on the first day of work causing a delay but Zak was able to promptly find an alternate boom lift to continue work on the next day. Zak replaced a chimney box for us. We chose him over others because we liked the ideas he had and he was clear about what he would do. He did very nice work, was very nice to work with and the project turned out great. Afterwards, I noticed one small thing that needed work and he came back to fix it. We would definitely use him again.
