Neighbor Monthly Parking

Still waiting a response from space owner after being towed and not notified. Cost $1600 to get my car back. I cancelled my contract but had always paid the rent on time as I did Feb 1st but was towed that day.

Overall good. I was able to park my car safely for eight weeks while I was out of the US. Downsides: I did have to coordinate with the person I was renting from to get the car in and out. If he hadn’t had a WFH job that would have been a lot harder. I lucked out into an inside space that wasn’t very expensive; most were up around the price I’d have to pay at a storage place, and most of those were driveway spots and didn’t feel all that secure. So very useful, with the caveat that you should verify where the space is before you take it, and check prices vs. a storage place.

It was great. Was able to store my car elsewhere, and free up my garage for a couple months for a big project. No hiccups, very easy.
