⭐️ 1 STAR – Negligent Diagnosis, Poor Communication, and No Accountability This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional automotive experiences I’ve ever had. I was charged twice for diagnostics, yet they never properly identified or repaired the root cause of the engine light. Instead of diagnosing the actual source of the issue, they kept changing their explanation and ultimately jumped to a $10,000 engine replacement recommendation without providing solid technical proof. First, they said they couldn’t diagnose it. Then it was “not enough spark.” Then suddenly there was spark. Then it became “no combustion in all four cylinders.” Finally, they concluded the engine needed to be replaced — without providing compression readings, leak-down results, or clear documentation to sup

I’ve never felt so welcome in an auto shop before! Monica made sure my vehicle was well taken care of and was so efficient and quick with communication. Rachel is so sweet. The staff in general is great. Of course car repairs are never cheap but I walked away feeling like my money was well spent and that my vehicle was properly serviced.

NV Auto Care did a great job and was recommended to me by the guys I rely on at Discount Tire on S Virginia, since they doen't do alignments in Reno. I spoke to Bernie on the phone, and saw Rachel and Sierra in the office. NV Auto Care did an alignment on my Crown Vic after a scissor jack failure, and it's doing way better. The job was done in a very reasonable time, and they were good about attention to detail too. I can't say the price was the same as it'd be at Discount Tire, but the price was completely reasonable and I'm satisfied. If the Vic needs anything else in Reno or someone asks for a recommendation, I'm picking NV Auto Care.

Came from california for the day with an overheating car, not knowing what was happening or what to do. I got amazing and friendly customer service, a loaner car to make my appointments, and a friend to lean on throughout the stresses of the day. The quote was reasonable and they worked with me in accordance of what I could afford. I dont think I've been to a better mechanic shop and would gladly come back with any problems I have. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you to you both, Monica and Rachel. 10/10
