Newport Carpet One Floor & Home

So disappointed and frustrated with the service from Carpet One in Newport and so sorry I ordered from them. I ordered our shades and paid in full on Dec 1, 2025. I was told to expect the shades to take a couple of weeks. But they were delayed -- that was disappointing but no fault of Carpet One. Finally they did arrive the week of Jan 14th and install scheduled for Jan 21. Chris told me to expect the installer to be at my home between 1 and 4 pm. He said there was a lengthy job for the installer in the morning. I picked up a prescription in the morning and got home at 11:45am to learn the installer had been to my house at 11:02am and had left. The installer John left me a voice mail message. I returned his call at noon and asked him to please come back. I called the store and reported the

Newport Carpet and Home was very easy to work with and I did everything with them remotely with ease. Erin was so helpful and the installer was skilled and professional. The carpet and LVT look exactly as I imagined. I would use them again.

We just had our entire townhome done by Newport Carpet One they were fantastic!!! We did have a little hiccup with getting one order in but wasn’t any fault of theirs but was quickly handle by Sara and she even got our install earlier! Chad Larson did our install and it’s wonderful. Beautiful done and was done right on schedule.

Newport Carpet One's Austin Perry helped me keep within my budget AND get excellent flooring. I arrived only with CORETec vinyl in mind because that is all I had seen prior that looked like what I wanted. But it was beyond my budget for the whole house. Austin also showed me online what that color of flooring would look like all laid out...and it would have been too dark. Whew, glad I didn't choose that vinyl! He brought out a sample of Invincible H2O Dawning Creek. It was just what I was looking for, and about $5 an ft less. I was also advised on what to do with our stairs. I decided on a carpet. From the moment I stopped at Carpet One to get a quote on upgrading my walk-out flooring, I was treated like a valued customer. Sara was most helpful and easy to deal with, working around my schedule. My installer Ian was great and put in an extra day to make sure my floor looked perfect. Very happy with how it turned out!
