My wife and I purchased a severely damaged gulf front home on Sanibel Island after Hurricane Ian and hired Newport Property Construction to do the remodel/rebuild. Although we have previous experience in building homes in the midwest (including a rebuild following a devastating house fire), and thought we were prepared for a similar project on Sanibel, we quickly found out that the construction process in Florida, and Sanibel in particular, had numerous challenges and obstacles that we did not anticipate. Newport took on our restoration project, which is our second home damaged in Ian. I sought Newport out after a rocky experience with a prior GC. Every aspect of the experience was exceptional! Newport assessed the project, asked many questions and then provided an incredibly detailed budget proposal. Negotiation was very easy! Next, Newport provided a detailed project analysis by month that bordered on military precision. My home was completed on time and well above our expectations!

Worked with Miguel & Harvey to put my vacation home back together after Hurricane Ian. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I reside out of the country so I was very skeptical about who to hire. They provided drone footage of the exterior and 3D interior video up on initial visit.
