Nic on Fifth Parking Garage

Easy in and out. The only way to pay is scanning the QR code they have posted on the inside walls. Easy to miss if you're not looking for them. Sign says $13 early bird but that doesn't include tax so the real cost came to about $15. A little deceiving since all the other garages that I've been to include tax in the advertised price.

Signage on the street advertises $12 early bird rate. Actual charge is $13.74 after tax. No other ramp I've used regularly tacks on tax above the posted rate, it's built in. This has to be intentionally misleading.

Things have changed here in The Nic on Fifth parking garage; Interstate Parking have taken over the Operations/Management of this Parking location. Public pedestrian access (back into building/Skyway) is now available 24/7 at the rear, lower parking area and into the Escalator Lobby from the sidewalk adjacent to Lightrail Station. BUT, you must have registered on the QR code APP and have the 4 digit code supplied! Follow the instructions on posted signage.

This parking garage locks all access doors and prevents you from retrieving your car. Contrary to their signage, there is no 24 hour access. If you don't want to stand outdoors in the cold at night desperately trying to gain access to the ramp and your car, park somewhere else. This place sucks.

You’ll have to enter Nic on 5th to re-enter the garage if you park above ground floor. I was unable to use my parking ticket to get past the locked doors into the garage, required front desk assistance from the apartment who was gone for 10+ minutes. Not a great experience to enter or exit. Probably better and cheaper to park in the lot across the street
