My general contractor hired Nice Carpets to install laminate flooring. Initially they didn’t properly level the floor and my contractor had to call them back out to correct the issue. The installer threw a fit and was extremely rude and my contractor had to advise not to bring that particular installer out again due to his behavior. The work was still not done correctly but I was so fed up with the entire process that I didn’t point out the additional problem. One section of the floor is so uneven it feels like there are golf balls under the floor where they laid the floor on an obviously uneven surface. I will NEVER have Nice Carpets do another floor for me nor will I recommend them to literally anyone.

We had our carpets installed a few months ago when we moved into our new house. The demo and installation crew was efficient and did a great job. Nice Carpets offered competitive pricing and I would much rather support local than spend my money at a big box store that would just hire it out to a third party. We really liked the quality of the carpets, too. The representative who worked with us to select the product and get the logistics of our installation was very helpful, too. We had a very positive experience with almost the entire process. Horrible customer service. Poor installation. Poor carpet quality. Carpet was installed in oct 2023 (5 months ago) and they still haven’t fixed all the problems identified at the time of installation - Horribly visible seams, carpet defects, missing transition strip, padding cut too short, used two different types of padding (two different manufacturers) on the same job and damaged baseboards. Additionally, The installers were highly unprofessional. One of them used my bathroom facilities And did not keep his business contained within the toilet bowl. How absolutely unsanitary and unbelievable that I had to clean it up. They do not answers emails or return phone calls.
